Richard "Bonaru" Richardson

Richard Bonaru Richardson serves as Visual Design Editor of the Friends of San Quentin News. Bonaru was a part of San Quentin News from 2009 to 2021. He was in every position of the organization, including Editor-in-Chief. He earned his A.A. degree in general studies at Mount Tamalpais College in 2012 and a vocational trade certificate as an Offset Press Operator from Robert E. Burton Adult School in 2010. Bonaru is now the Office Manager and COVID Response Assistant at Mount Tamalpais College. Bonaru enjoys bragging about his amazing children, beautiful grandchildren and wonderful wife LaKeesha Richardson.
